This is a hands-on, customer-facing position providing wayfinding assistance and general transportation information while supporting interior campus lot operations for a high-volume corporate shuttle system serving 20,000 Boeing employees daily. Working primarily outdoors (~70% of time), specialists assist with crowd control, traffic flow, and customer service while supporting Transportation Field Supervisors and Customer Service Leads. The role operates within a 24/7 transportation network requiring adaptability and strong customer service skills.
Job Responsibility:
Working with transportation leadership to maintain optimal service levels in the field
Assisting with crowd control and directing traffic flow in interior campus parking areas
Providing excellent customer service to Boeing employees and visitors using shuttle services
Supporting Transportation Field Supervisors with daily operational tasks
Reporting operational issues and safety concerns through proper channels
Maintaining clean and organized service areas
Communicating effectively with team members and other vendors on-site
Adapting to varying shift demands and operational priorities
Requirements:
1+ years of customer service experience
Drivers license
Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions for majority of shift
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic, fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work across different shifts as needed
Physical ability to stand, walk, and direct traffic for extended periods
Reliable attendance and punctuality for 24/7 operations
Nice to have:
Experience in transportation, parking, or crowd management roles
Background working in corporate campus or large facility environments
Familiarity with safety and incident reporting procedures
