We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Transportation Engineer in our Chicago O'Hare office. This position offers the opportunity to work on the design of a variety of transportation and site engineering projects. Job Responsibility:

  • Design of highway, municipal, and site development improvements, including roadway elements, site grading, storm drainage, water main distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, and other site or public utilities
  • Preparation of local, state and federal permit applications
  • Identifying and handling compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Collaborating with design staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT certification preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of relatable experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
  • MicroStation and Civil 3D experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards a plus
