Job Description:

GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Corporate Headquarters office in downtown Milwaukee located in The Avenue.

Job Responsibility:

  • Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process
  • The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
  • Project engineering and management
  • Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management
  • Professional society involvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
  • Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred
  • PE license in WI
  • Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development
  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage

Nice to have:

Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation
