GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Corporate Headquarters office in downtown Milwaukee located in The Avenue.
Job Responsibility:
Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process
The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
Project engineering and management
Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management
Professional society involvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred
PE license in WI
Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage
Nice to have:
Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation
