Coordinate and manage driver schedules, routes, and assignments
Schedule freight pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time service
Monitor and review driver logs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Provide customers with accurate pickup and delivery updates
Maintain detailed and accurate records of freight requests and transactions
Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status and inquiries
Collaborate with internal teams, including dispatchers, managers, and other departments
Accurately track freight revenue and maintain supporting documentation
Organize and file Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other required paperwork
Provide ongoing support and guidance to drivers
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule vehicle service and repairs
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs
Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods as required
Valid driver's license
Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities
Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Nice to have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry (preferred but not required)
