Job Description

We are seeking a Dispatcher to support safe, efficient, and customer-focused transportation operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage workforce and equipment to achieve daily production goals
  • Prevent service failures through effective dispatching of drivers
  • Supervise scheduling and coordination of shipments
  • Maintain daily communication with customers to assess fuel needs, market trends, and availability
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster long-term client relationships
  • Create and maintain a positive, high-performance work culture with professional communication
  • Work approximately 50–55 hours per week, including weekend rotation with other dispatchers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in the delivery/trucking industry required
  • Dispatching or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills (intermediate level or higher)
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives and make value-based decisions considering cost, customer expectations, and driver needs
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with proven initiative
  • Ability to function effectively in a high-stress environment
  • Must pass background check and drug test
  • Hand steadiness and finger dexterity to use keyboard and phone
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Walking, standing, sitting, and reaching as needed
  • Sufficient vision, speech, and hearing to perform essential duties
