Job Description:

You’ll work with great people, learn, grow and have a good time doing it.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute designs for both public and private civil and transportation projects
  • Prepare calculations (quantity take-off, storm drain, waste water, water system, earthwork quantities, cost estimates)
  • Assist with field surveys, preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications
  • Assist with processing submittals and perform plan drafting using CAD software
  • Prepare and review sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work
  • Develop professional knowledge and abilities
  • Regularly communicate and coordinate project activities with internal team members
  • Begin to build relationships with clients and vendors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in civil engineering
  • P.E. license
  • Working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and key design elements
  • Ability to interface and collaborate effectively with other team members
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Proficiency using MicroStation is preferred
  • Understanding of Civil 3D and GeoPak will help set you apart
