Transport Supervisor

• Liaise with VIC Transport Teams, 3PL's and DC Operations teams of progress and status of loads, schedules and strategies
• Oversee the allocation of loads to meet store requirements and ensure on-time delivery to our customers
• Update the Transport Management team on a real-time basis of any operational / service concerns or non-compliance
• Actively seek out and implement cost saving or efficiency improvement initiatives within the Vic transport operating model
• Liaise with appropriate personnel to achieve adherence to curfews, cross-docking and top uploads

• Experience in transportation operations positions in a multi-site business in FMCG / Supply Chain / Distribution environment
• Ability to navigate in a large complex environment and communicate effectively and with influence with 3PL carriers & operational teams
• A good understanding of the Chain of responsibility
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
• Have intermediate computer skills - Google, Excel, Word
• Strong customer Service focus & problem-solving abilities
