Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and optimise vehicle routing

High attention to detail, particularly with documentation, reporting, and compliance standards

Job Responsibility

Ensure full compliance with transport, environmental, and safety regulations, including tachograph management, defect reporting, and adherence to company policies
Work closely with our Transport Co-ordinators to help plan and optimise daily vehicle routes to maximise efficiency, minimise downtime, and ensure timely completion of all collections and deliveries
Work with the Assistant Depot Manager to monitor driver performance and productivity, addressing underperformance through reporting, coaching, and continuous improvement
Also completing accurate investigations relating to vehicle accidents and staff conduct
Oversee operational standards across vehicles, sites, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and availability of resources (e.g. waste containers)
Support business performance by maintaining accurate documentation, managing credit control requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and cost efficiency

Ensuring daily loading and unloading of vehicles and the delivery and return of items in line with customer agreements
Ensuring vehicles and associated equipment are inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and current legislation

Job Responsibility

Support with the full compliance of the Home Delivery Fleet in line with vehicle operator licensing legislation and regulations, which includes accurate vehicle records (up to 2 years), servicing in line with regulations and Drivers Hours, Working Time and Daily Checks
Ensure that all vehicles are kept to pre-set standards and are always legally compliant
Ensure the Warehouse/Distribution Centre is clean, tidy and organised
Ensure all transport centre administration is carried out in an efficient, well-organised and effective manner, i.e., signing of delivery documentation and making sure payment has been received
With the DM, ensure all distribution employees deliver the Premier Delivery Service consistently, including pre-delivery inspections, use of protective equipment etc
Actively support the store in delivering the Awesome Experience
Ensure that all customer service interactions and communication by distribution employees are polite and courteous
Communicating clearly and confidently with your team
