Job Description:

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Transport Planner to join our busy team in Raydon. In this role, you’ll manage up to 35 self-employed Trade Plate Drivers, planning daily collections and deliveries through our FleetPlus system and ensuring customers receive a first-class service.

Job Responsibility:

Allocate and route drivers for maximum efficiency and productivity
Record and manage vehicle movement data accurately
Provide daily telephone support and problem-solving for drivers
Work with Customer Service and Refurbishment teams to keep information updated
Handle operational challenges, peaks, and absences effectively
Take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota
Produce reports to support management decisions
Live the organisational values of It Fleet Automotive at all times whilst at work and when representing the organisation externally
Promote and protect the equality, diversity, rights and responsibilities of individuals and adhere to IT Fleet Automotive’s Equality and Dignity at Work and Diversity policies
Adhere to all health and safety policies of the organisation and take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others

Requirements:

Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to plan, problem-solve, and prioritise under pressure
Experience in transport, logistics, or planning roles (preferred)
A team player with excellent customer service focus
Own transport is needed for this role
