Job Description

About the role: We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our dynamic Perth team, working on a range of exciting projects across WA. You will be responsible for complex problem solving, innovation, information analysis, report writing, and client engagement. You will primarily work within the transport planning team in Perth and nationally, collaborating with some of Australia's leading traffic and transport experts. Your role will also involve cross-disciplinary collaboration with our transportation team, including engineering, design, and analytics.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver transport planning and traffic engineering studies, including impact assessments and modelling
  • Support and manage projects across land development, infrastructure and urban precincts
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals and client deliverables
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or similar
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in transport planning within a consulting environment
  • Knowledge of traffic modelling and analysis tools such as SIDRA, VISSIM, VISUM or similar will be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and build client relationships
