Job Description

FM Conway is currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our growing Transport division. As our Transport Planner, you will play a key part in ensuring the effective and efficient planning of road transport operations. This is a 9-12 month, fixed-term contract based out of our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Job Responsibility

  • Planning the full utilisation of our transport fleet
  • Liaising with site supervisors regarding the most profitable use of our assets
  • Reducing the requirement for sub-contract haulage
  • Gaining a full understanding of site requirements and restrictions, transport systems and transport regulations
  • Assisting in KPI reporting on vehicle/driver earnings and utilisation

Requirements

  • Organised and customer focused
  • ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • previous experience in planning and scheduling (ideal but not required)
  • strong administration background (considered)
