Job Responsibility

Make full use of all IT systems, TMS and customer portals to ensure efficient fleet and employee deployment
Fully utilise all vehicles to ensure accurate and appropriate allocation of drivers/vehicles/trailers/customer deliveries and backloads
Work closely with the Workshop to ensure vehicles and trailers are available to support the transport requirement
Communicate and share plans to the transport team to deliver through efficiency and maintain customer service levels
Manage staffing levels, including agency staff
Communicate effectively with all customers
Control and plan operational deliveries for the following day and provide rates, quotes and process all customer bookings
Work as part of a team and participate in cross training initiatives
Identify, communicate, and drive any continuous improvements
Operate to a high standard of general housekeeping and work safely

Assist with inventory tracking and reporting of products
