Job Description:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily coordination of transport operations, including fleet utilisation, load planning and dispatch activities. This is a fast-paced role where effective communication, sound decision-making and strong organisational skills are essential. Available Rosters: Sunday to Wednesday (Full-Time); Wednesday to Saturday (Full-Time). Day shift roles within a 24/7 operational environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily transport operations and driver allocation
  • Plan and schedule deliveries to optimise service performance
  • Champion Health & Safety across all operational activities
  • Build strong working relationships with drivers and customers
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, company and customer requirements
  • Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in rostered after-hours escalation support
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in line with company policies

Requirements:

  • Transport industry experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in organising, allocating or scheduling within logistics, warehousing or operations will be highly regarded
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Confident and timely decision-making skills
  • High computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, can-do attitude
