Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily coordination of transport operations, including fleet utilisation, load planning and dispatch activities. This is a fast-paced role where effective communication, sound decision-making and strong organisational skills are essential. Available Rosters: Sunday to Wednesday (Full-Time); Wednesday to Saturday (Full-Time). Day shift roles within a 24/7 operational environment.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily transport operations and driver allocation
Plan and schedule deliveries to optimise service performance
Champion Health & Safety across all operational activities
Build strong working relationships with drivers and customers
Ensure compliance with legislative, company and customer requirements
Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Participate in rostered after-hours escalation support
Maintain quality and safety standards in line with company policies
Requirements:
Transport industry experience is beneficial but not essential
Experience in organising, allocating or scheduling within logistics, warehousing or operations will be highly regarded
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Confident and timely decision-making skills
High computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive, can-do attitude
