We are currently recruiting Transport Operations Assistants to join the team. You will receive training and mentoring to master all the necessary skills to succeed in this role. No prior experience in the transport and logistics industry is required. This role affords huge opportunities for career progression.

Job Responsibility

  • Liaise with the transport planners and the customer service team to ensure that all targets are achieved and quality standards are maintained
  • Be the main point of contact for all driver queries
  • Use new communication technologies to assist efficiency in responding to drivers
  • Keep the transport team updated of any relevant issues in real time
  • Book ferries, check for customs clearance (if required) and any other country specific documentation
  • Ensure compliance with driver working hours and other transport regulations
  • Handle administration and reporting tasks

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new IT systems quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and follow-up
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and thrives working in a fast-paced energetic environment
  • Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
  • Someone who is driven to learn new skills and progress their career
  • A related third level qualification would be desirable (e.g. business, supply chain, project management)
  • A European language is advantageous
  • Polish, Lithuanian, Romanian, etc.
