We are looking for a dynamic Transport Manager - Operations to join our global team, based in Copenhagen. In this role, you will act as the regional guardian of our transport performance for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa), ensuring seamless execution while maintaining strong alignment with our global standards.
Job Responsibility:
Regional Service Provider Management: monitor the performance of Transport Service Providers (3PLs/Integrators) within the region
Operational Performance & Governance: oversee the high-level execution of shipments originating from or destined for our EMEA sites
Customer & Stakeholder Management: act as the dedicated Transport Partner for regional Sales, Customer Order Desk, and Warehouse Operations teams
Specialized Logistics Solutions: serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex flows, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and project cargo
Project Representation: represent the region in global transport projects
Requirements:
A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
3-5+ years of experience in transportation management, freight forwarding, or logistics procurement
Deep understanding of the European transport market and regulatory landscape (air, ocean, road, courier)
Knowledge of customs and dangerous goods procedures specific to the region
Proven track record in managing external service providers (3PL/4PL) and strong negotiation skills
Fluent in English (negotiating level)
Ability to communicate complex logistics issues to non-logistics stakeholders clearly
