Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Transport & Customs Supplier Manager (f/m) to join our Supply Chain Operations (SMROS) department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing Flight Hour Services (FHS) logistics. As part of the Global Transport & Customs team, you will be involved in Supplier Relationship Management aiming at guaranteeing the overall operational delivery of FHS components in a continuously airworthy condition.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the relationship with the suppliers, including performance monitoring, weekly and monthly reviews, and driving continuous improvement
Ensure contractual requirements are applied by the customs broker
Arrange and lead business reviews with the Service Provider
Support the focal points on DG, ECC issues if required
Actively participate in the design, implementation, and follow-up of KPIs with subcontractors
Monitor that performance aligns with targets and initiate any required improvement or recovery plan
Manage the action plan with suppliers and initiate/follow up on corrective and improvement actions
Data analysis oriented to be able to challenge the supplier
Monitor that invoices provided by the customs broker are complete and accurate
Work closely with the Customs project department and support them in case of escalations or project implementation
Work closely with the transport team to ensure the coordination between transport and customs broker
Support internal and external stakeholders in conducting transport analysis with suppliers and defining improvement plans
Collaborate closely with the operation & customs team in KUALA (Escalation, Process review, Continuous improvement initiatives..)
To provide a clear visibility to the Global transport lead and ensure escalation are drumbeat
Be able to manage subcontractors workpackages
Be able to work on an international environment
Requirements:
Degree in Transport, business school, engineering with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management or similar
+ 5 years experience in logistics and Supply Chain domain
Expert in transport, customs scheme and international operations
good knowledge in supplier management and project management methods and tools
French and English languages are required
Green Belt certification is a plus
strong work ethic, are able to work across functions with ease and have the proven ability to lead and challenge a supplier
