Transport Allocator / Fleet Scheduler

• Manage the daily schedule of deliveries and vehicle requirements according to volume and requirements
• Work closely with Delivery Professionals and other cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of daily delivery operations
• Handle operational issues on the day of delivery, ensuring timely resolution of any disruptions or challenges
• Support the customer experience by ensuring that deliveries meet or exceed expectations
• Ensure that all allocations adhere to the principles of the Chain of Responsibility (COR) and safety standards
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience
• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules and any relevant operational metrics

• 3+ years of industry experience in transport or logistics
• Strong familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• Proactive 'can-do' mindset with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities effectively
• Ability to resolve issues promptly
• A good understanding of local and interstate capital cities, an advantage
