Temporary Transport Administrator role in Canterbury, Kent, starting immediately with potential to become permanent. The position involves supporting transport operations, route planning, documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Transport Manager in the day-to-day coordination of the company's delivery operations
Assist in planning and scheduling vehicle routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries of products
Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure delivery instructions are clear and completed accurately
Prepare and issue delivery documentation including route sheets and proof of delivery notes
Monitor vehicle movements and communicate any delays or changes to relevant departments or customers
Ensure driver compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements
Assist with the maintenance of transport records, driver files, and vehicle service schedules
Handle transport-related queries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
Requirements:
