Job Description

The Transport Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring CMA CGM’s customers receive the best possible service and experience when choosing to work with us. As a Transport Administrator, you will work directly with our customers & suppliers as well as internal colleagues across our business, to ensure any transport-related matters are handled professionally and in the most timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibility

  • Be a trusted and reliable first point of contact for stakeholders, for any transport-related matters
  • Build and manage strong working relationships with Customers, suppliers and internal customers
  • Managing and resolving any Transport-related issues that arise
  • Adopting a proactive and solutions-focused approach, monitoring delivery of transport services and identifying effective resolutions
  • Proactively engaging with customers
  • General transport administration
  • Working with our Transport systems and database
  • Working with customers to ensure that any charges raised are accurate

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a Customer Service and Administration based working environment
  • Experience within the Transport and Logistics industry would be great, but it is not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Administration skills, with knowledge and experience of working with high volumes of data and information, IT Systems and bespoke software, as well as MS Office applications
  • A resilient approach, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility in your approach
