Assist Transport Team with planning and communicating routes to drivers where required
Assist drivers with downloading tacho records and identifying any discrepancies or omissions, referring to the Transport Manager where necessary to ensure relevant follow up action is taken
Respond to customer queries, ensuring any discrepancies are recorded, investigated and resolved in a timely manner
Update and maintain electronic and manual records in accordance with company systems, processes and procedures where required
Advise and guide other colleagues where required to ensure all working procedures and processes are complied with
Provide cover for the Customer Service and Warehouse Teams where required
Requirements
Qualified to Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent
Experience of working in a team-based office environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
Ability to use initiative and to be so organised that key tasks can be completed fully and on time
Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines
High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Proven arithmetic skills
Effective working unsupervised and in a team-based environment
