Job Description

The Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time board-certified Transplant Nephrologist to join our collaborative and high-volume kidney transplant program across Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Our combined program performed over 300 kidney transplants in 2025, offering a dynamic and diverse clinical environment with exposure to complex transplant patients and cutting-edge care delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-kidney transplant care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care alongside transplant surgery, infectious diseases, pathology, and immunology teams
  • Participate in innovative clinical initiatives
  • Play a central role in education, supervising and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology
  • Completed an ACGME-accredited Nephrology fellowship
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, clinical excellence, and collegiality
