MaineHealth Division of Nephrology is seeking a full time Transplant Nephrology physician to join their well-established, collegial group in Portland. We provide a full array of clinical services that encompass acute and chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy, apheresis, critical care and interventional nephrology, kidney transplantation, renal sonography, and kidney biopsy. This physician will spend a significant amount of time in the transplant nephrology practice caring for pre and post kidney transplant recipients and living donors both inpatient, outpatient, and in consultation on a variety of medical units at Maine Medical Center. S/he will join an experienced and dedicated multidisciplinary transplant care team which provides highly personalized care to end stage renal patients in Maine and New Hampshire. The Transplant Program, which performs 40-50 transplants per year, offers a rare opportunity to join during an exciting phase of growth and modernization. Teaching and mentoring nephrology fellows, IM residents and medical students
Requirements:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school
Fellowship-trained in Nephrology
Completion of an American Society of Transplant (AST) Accredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship
