California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), home to one of the nation’s leading transplant programs, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist to join our distinguished Division of Hepatology. Our team of nine transplant hepatologists is deeply engaged in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy. CPMC is a state-of-the-art tertiary/quaternary referral center within Sutter Health’s 20+ hospital network. With 581 beds across three campuses (Pacific, Davies, and Mission Bernal), CPMC serves as a destination for advanced care throughout Northern California and Nevada. In addition, we provide outreach through 10 regional liver clinics across Northern California. For more than 50 years, CPMC has been at the forefront of solid organ transplantation. In 2024 alone, we performed 89 cadaveric donor liver transplants, and we are actively developing a Living Donor Liver Transplant Program. Our hepatology program offers comprehensive care in: Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease, including a limited sobriety pathway; Portal Hypertension; Autoimmune Liver Disease; Viral Hepatitis; Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD); Liver Cancer & Transplant Oncology. Faculty actively participate in clinical trials, NIH-funded research, and advanced education through our ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellowships. 3–5 years of post-fellowship experience preferred (new graduates also welcome)
