Job Responsibility

  • Rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications
  • Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
  • Continuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technology

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as an Automotive Transmission Rebuilder
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Own professional grade tools
  • Experience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuilding
  • Ability to communicate solutions to others
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment

Nice to have

  • knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus
  • ASE certifications a plus
