Job Description:

We are seeking a Transmission Integration Engineer to support the integration and configuration of transmission systems and nodes across Vodafone networks. The individual will contribute to the delivery of business requirements by executing transmission build, change, and troubleshooting activities while ensuring network stability. This role involves working across multi‑vendor environments, engaging with planning, operations, and business teams, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and service performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration‑related errors, escalating planning issues where necessary to maintain accuracy and network integrity
  • Comply with all change management processes and follow documented low‑level designs (LLDs) for configuration tasks
  • Reference and apply Methods of Procedure and Cramer system information for IP addressing, circuit builds, and task updates in Remedy
  • Create and configure circuits for new RAN sites and upgrade existing services in line with business requirements
  • Build Ethernet services for enterprise customers and deliver card expansions for Infinera MPLS nodes
  • Support mega transmission projects delivered across diverse locations, collaborating effectively across different time zones and cultures

Requirements:

  • Experienced in transmission networks, with a minimum of seven years’ expertise across multi‑vendor environments
  • Knowledgeable in L3 NNI POC hardening, NNI access migrations, EMC trunk migrations, and SIAE microwave systems
  • Skilled in integrating and swapping Infinera MPLS nodes, performing bandwidth upgrades, and implementing new transmission services
  • Familiar with MPLS load balancing, traffic migrations, and troubleshooting across complex network architectures
  • A strong communicator with excellent analytical abilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and a customer‑centric mindset
  • Adaptable in changing environments, applying sound judgement and innovative thinking to technical challenges
