Experience designing overhead transmission and/or distribution lines (~5+ years)
Professional Engineer (PE) license (Civil or Structural preferred) preferred, or ability to acquire it within one year of hire
PLS-CADD experience preferred

Job Responsibility

Lead and mentor a team of Transmission or Distribution engineers
Perform and review overhead line designs (transmission and/or distribution) using PLS-CADD, and other related tools
Guide junior engineers and support technical problem solving
Collaborate with utility clients on line upgrades and design projects
Contribute technical input to proposals and new project pursuits
Improve design processes and engineering workflows
Conduct field visits and site assessments as needed (up to 15% travel)
Verify clearances, structure integrity, and NESC/client standards compliance
Prepare construction and record documentation
Operate with strong technical ownership and leadership presence
