Job Description:

We are looking to bring a Japanese translator into the regional operations team to strengthen our delivery in Japan and support Foundrys broader goal of becoming the primary demand generation partner in the market. Japan continues to be one of our fastest growing regions and delivering in-language campaigns is key to deepening trust with both clients and prospects. This role will ensure our translations reflect the accuracy and cultural standards expected locally. It is an opportunity to contribute to how Foundry grows and continues to stand out as a trusted provider of high-quality, locally relevant lead generation in Japan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate data from English into Kanji and Katakana on a weekly basis with precision and accuracy
  • Localize content to ensure alignment with Japanese cultural and linguistic nuances
  • Safeguard all confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies
  • Manage translation deliverables across multiple campaigns while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with campaign managers to clarify information and maintain an efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • Near native fluency in Japanese and strong English proficiency, with excellent written accuracy
  • Deep understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and use of Kanji
  • Strong research and attention to detail, especially for names, company suffixes, and terminology
  • Degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
