Job Description:

We are looking for a Transformation Business Analyst to join Global Transformation at HSBC, focusing on requirements gathering, business solutions design, and change management in a banking and financial services context. The role involves value creation, operational performance management, and capability development while supporting impactful communication and collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

Demonstrate strong business knowledge and sound business sense
Gather requirements and agree designs across business stakeholders
Resolve disagreements and conflicts in stakeholder meetings
Shape business requirements and solution designs
Devices solution options using systemic thinking and creativity
Evaluate costs, benefits and obstacles of potential solutions
Mitigate issues and risks proactively
Participate in user acceptance testing and validate new systems
Manage the change implementation activities
Support reengineering of processes
Create and maintain a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

Ability to read/type and speak in English and Chinese are crucial
Good understanding of Global Change Delivery Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques
A thorough understanding of the purpose, values, culture and fundamentals of Global Change Delivery
Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives
Very strong knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.
Basic Business reengineering knowledge
Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques
Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches

Nice to have:

Basic Business reengineering knowledge
Exposure to business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits
Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking environments
