Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Transcriber to support the project focused on English Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) quality control. This role requires strong linguistic capabilities, technical adaptability, and a commitment to delivering accurate and consistent audio transcriptions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Rapidly acquire proficiency in project-specific annotation standards and transcription tools and adapt effectively to ongoing rule updates
  • Perform high-quality transcription and annotation of diverse English audio materials in accordance with established guidelines
  • Review, proofread, and refine annotated texts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Maintain efficient and proactive communication with the project team to ensure alignment on requirements and updates

Requirements:

  • Strong academic or practical foundation in Linguistics, Audio Engineering, Broadcasting/Hosting, Film/Television Production, Computer Science, or related Science and Engineering disciplines
  • Practical experience and relevant competencies in audio annotation, transcription, translation, or sound editing are preferred
  • Advanced English proficiency (CEFR Level C1 or higher) in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to understand, follow, and apply complex guidelines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Passion for technology, storytelling, and/or gaming
  • Fast learner, comfortable using digital tools and platforms
  • Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to work on-site (Bacoor, Cavite)
