We are looking for an experienced Transactional Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join a client in New Richmond, WI. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in entity formation and real estate transactions, ensuring seamless handling of legal documentation and processes. Job Responsibility:
Assist with the preparation and filing of entity formation documents, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
Coordinate and manage real estate transaction documentation, including purchase agreements and title searches
Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
Conduct legal research to support attorneys in transactional matters
Maintain organized and accurate records for legal cases and client files
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress
Collaborate with attorneys to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to deadlines
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing reports
Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to transactional legal matters
Contribute to improving processes and workflows within the legal department
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in transactional law
Strong knowledge of entity formation processes and requirements
Familiarity with real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing related documentation
Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal databases
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
