Job Description

iCapital is seeking a strategically minded and experienced Assistant Vice President or Vice President to join the Transactional Operations team, with a primary focus on leading investor lifecycle management and onboarding oversight. This role is critical in shaping operational excellence across multiple fund structures, including feeder funds, Direct Funds, and Ticker‑Traded Interval Funds. This individual will oversee complex investor transactions, drive cross‑functional initiatives, and serve as a senior operational partner to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end onboarding and transactional processing across multiple investment products
  • Manage relationships with fund administrators, ensuring timely and accurate investor transaction processing
  • Oversee complex investor activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and trade reconciliations
  • Serve as a senior operations liaison to high-profile fund managers and distributors during fundraising and closings
  • Partner with Technology, Product, and Operations leadership to enhance platform functionality and scalability
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, setting standards for quality and communication
  • Analyze operational metrics to identify automation and process-improvement opportunities
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives supporting product expansion and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 6-12+ years of experience in financial services, ideally within alternative investments or fund administration
  • Deep expertise in alternative investment transaction workflows
  • Strong understanding of AML or KYC, tax documentation, and CRS requirements
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to drive initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort using technology and data-oriented tools
