Job Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of key controls across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Banking processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update banking files to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts
  • Prepare and distribute various weekly and monthly statements to internal stakeholders
  • Perform daily reconciliations and receivable allocation to maintain accuracy and integrity
  • Complete daily check tasks to ensure all transactions are processed correctly, and controls are operating effectively
  • Provide first-line support to consultants and internal business partners, answering enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Prepare audit evidence and supporting documentation for internal and external audits
  • Support month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Work closely with offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery and maintain service standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies across Transactional Finance operations

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate clearly with finance and non-finance individuals
  • Understanding office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF) and AI tools
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation
  • Experience or interest in transactional finance areas (AP, AR, Banking, Reconciliations)
  • Ability to work with financial systems and reporting tools (Power BI, portals)
  • Attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy in financial data
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial controls
  • Ability to perform accurate daily reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, balancing daily tasks with monthly deliverables
  • Ability to work to deadlines, particularly during month-end periods and awareness of the importance of cut-off procedures
