Citadel Source are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager to lead core finance operations and drive process improvement across the function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of transactional finance, lead a team, and play a key role in improving efficiency, controls, and performance.
Job Responsibility:
Full ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Overseeing employee expenses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
Managing cash flow through effective oversight of payables and receivables
Leading and developing the AP team to drive performance and accountability
Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and supplier payments
Managing credit control processes to reduce aged debt and improve cash collection
Owning cash reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
Driving process improvements, automation, and efficiencies across finance operations
Acting as a key finance contact for the wider business, supporting stakeholders with processes and queries
Maintaining and enforcing finance policies, controls, and governance
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Finance Operations or Transactional Finance Manager role
Strong background across AP, AR, and expenses
Experience managing and developing finance teams
A solid understanding of financial controls, processes, and compliance
A track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies
Confidence working with and influencing stakeholders across the business
Strong systems experience (ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 or similar)
Good Excel and data analysis skills
AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) preferred
