Citadel Source are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager to lead core finance operations and drive process improvement across the function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of transactional finance, lead a team, and play a key role in improving efficiency, controls, and performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Full ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Overseeing employee expenses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
  • Managing cash flow through effective oversight of payables and receivables
  • Leading and developing the AP team to drive performance and accountability
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and supplier payments
  • Managing credit control processes to reduce aged debt and improve cash collection
  • Owning cash reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
  • Driving process improvements, automation, and efficiencies across finance operations
  • Acting as a key finance contact for the wider business, supporting stakeholders with processes and queries
  • Maintaining and enforcing finance policies, controls, and governance

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Finance Operations or Transactional Finance Manager role
  • Strong background across AP, AR, and expenses
  • Experience managing and developing finance teams
  • A solid understanding of financial controls, processes, and compliance
  • A track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies
  • Confidence working with and influencing stakeholders across the business
  • Strong systems experience (ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 or similar)
  • Good Excel and data analysis skills
  • AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) preferred
