Job Description:

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney to join the team located in San Diego, California. The chosen candidate will be primarily responsible for executing corporate and business transactions, providing advice on business matters, drafting various legal documents, and offering counsel to companies on emerging issues.

Job Responsibility:

Handling purchase & sales of businesses
advising on business matters
establishing, drafting operating agreements and bylaws and AOI
setting up companies
counseling them on issues that arise
purchases of businesses
Drafting, redlining, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements fairly independently

Requirements:

Holds a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years experience working as a transactional attorney at a law firm
Proficient in corporate law and commercial contracts (drafting, negotiating, redlining)
Ability to work in downtown San Diego 3 days per week
