Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a transactional attorney to support an in-house legal department with contracts and compliance overflow.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, and confidentiality agreements
  • Provide strategic legal advice on cross-border negotiations, addressing differences in liability frameworks and jurisdiction considerations between U.S. and European contracting norms
  • Develop and maintain contract templates that align with both domestic and international legal standards
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal risk requirements across relevant jurisdictions
  • Train internal teams on contract provisions, indemnifications, and best practices for form agreements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish scalable legal processes that support business operations
  • Advise on legal matters related to employment law, data privacy, corporate law, and international tax regulations
  • Implement and communicate policies to enhance contract management practices and operational efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment
  • Provide thought leadership and counsel on legal and business-related matters as part of the executive team

Requirements:

  • Must have an active bar license
  • 5 to 15 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial contract drafting and negotiation
  • Expertise in handling product sales agreements, service agreements, licensing contracts, and other complex legal documents
  • Knowledge of employment law, data privacy, corporate law, and tax laws in both domestic and international contexts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and building collaborative relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and assess risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
