Job Description:

A role in Transaction Taxes team advising on tax implications of full range of transactions from acquisitions and disposals to MBOs and internal reorganisations. Role with diverse requirements and huge learning opportunities, rooted in partnership with clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide technical tax advice on mergers & acquisitions, exits, refinancing, equity raising, debt raising, and business reorganisation
  • Support on delivery of tax due diligence assignments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
  • Collaboration with wider firm colleagues to deliver seamless client experience
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate impact to clients and colleagues
  • Support and promote continual development of junior colleagues through training, coaching and provision of timely developmental feedback

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced Tax professional operating at Assistant Manager grade or above
  • Relevant experience in corporate tax or private client tax advisory-focused role
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to positively impact and influence others
  • Qualified CA and/or CTA (or equivalent) is essential
  • Experience of line management/coaching in an advisory setting is desirable
