Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Transaction Monitor Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will focus on ensuring compliance and accuracy in transaction reviews and quality control processes. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in auditing, case investigations, and suspicious activity reporting within the financial services industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct thorough reviews of transaction alerts to identify and address potential risks or suspicious activity
  • Audit case investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with established guidelines
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects to support organizational objectives and improve operational efficiency
  • Perform quality control checks to maintain accuracy and reliability in transaction monitoring processes
  • Analyze banking transactions to detect patterns and trends that may indicate fraudulent behavior
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and adheres to legal and compliance standards
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance monitoring systems and processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transaction monitoring, auditing, or quality control within the financial services sector
  • Proficiency in preparing and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
  • Strong knowledge of banking transactions and regulatory compliance standards
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed audits and reviews with high accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and irregularities
  • Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams
  • Familiarity with quality control processes in transaction monitoring
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
