The Transaction Manager is responsible for supporting aspects of the lending lifecycle such as loan closing and servicing coordination, complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. The role requires leading a team, creating and implementing transaction management processes, and working with various business units to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Support loan origination and lifecycle management
create processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management
design and implement technology including testing and rollout
provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents
partner with business lines, credit risk, operations, and legal teams
ensure quality of data and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
implement operational metrics and control reviews
improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
lead performance and efficiency enhancement projects
manage deal closing pipeline
coordinate and close loan transactions and lifecycle events
assess and mitigate risks
demonstrate compliance with laws and regulations.
Requirements:
6-10 years of experience
excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
ability to work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal follow-up
high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft-based programs
familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools
experience with Loan IQ and transaction capture tools
keen attention to detail
analytical and problem-solving abilities
client relationship and solution skills
fluency in English.
Nice to have:
experience in management/team lead capacity
knowledge of wholesale loan products and business
understanding of legal loan documentation, loan mechanics, deal structures, and funds flows
experience working with clients under time constraints
collaboration with team members and senior management
critical decision-making capabilities
multi-tasking and organizational skills
understanding of corporate and regulatory policies in relation to lending
knowledge of operational processes supporting wholesale lending
