Are you a meticulous financial professional looking for a new challenge in downtown Montreal? An independent financial services firm is seeking a full-time Transaction Processor. You will execute and validate investment transactions (purchases, sales, transfers) on Univeris for a team of approximately 20 representatives, while ensuring regulatory compliance. To succeed, you hold a DEC in Business Administration (Finance option) or have completed the IFIC course, ideally complemented by financial experience. Fluent in French with functional English, you excel at managing priorities under pressure, meeting deadlines, and are proficient in Excel and Outlook. This position, based in downtown Montreal, offers a salary and vacation time negotiable based on your experience.
Job Responsibility
Execute investment transactions (purchases, sales, transfers, direct debits, etc.) ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Validate and enter financial transactions into the Univeris Platform
Follow up on client accounts and correct discrepancies
Conduct research in various systems to respond to inquiries
Analyze problem cases related to received transactions and forms
Propose modifications to resolve and prevent problems
Follow up with representatives to obtain information to resolve problems and communicate solutions
Process and track requests for reimbursement of redemption and transfer fees
Schedule bank transfers and currency conversions
Process GIC applications and enter them into the system
Collaborate with fund companies and Head Office to follow up on files
Create and/or update various files
Prepare administrative and transactional forms for financial and non-financial transactions
Communicate with Advisors when a request is unclear and make corrections
Ensure the most up-to-date version of each document is used
Conduct searches in various systems to respond to requests
Requirements
College diploma in administration (finance or financial services option) or completed the IFIC Operations course
Excellent written and spoken French
Functional level of English
Time and priority management, work under pressure, react quickly
Detail-oriented and meticulous
