Job Description

Oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas in a Plasma Donation Center.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training
  • Review Quality Control Records
  • Coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process
  • Manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures
  • Consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns
  • Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification
  • Frequent bending and reaching
  • Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
  • Frequent lifting to 32 pounds
  • Occasional lifting to 50 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination
  • Depth perception
  • Ability to monitor equipment from a distance
  • Pro-longed glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
