Job Description:

Talentmark are recruiting for a Senior Manager, UK/IE Pharmacovigilance to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12-months maternity cover.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee UK/IE Pharmacovigilance daily operations including adverse event management, reconciliations, quality checks, and risk management activities
  • Ensure compliance with UK/IE pharmacovigilance legislation, Good Vigilance Practices and company quality systems
  • Support and maintain the UK/IE Pharmacovigilance system including local PSMF activities and compliance monitoring
  • Provide technical expertise on UK/IE pharmacovigilance regulations, including MHRA and HPRA requirements
  • Manage vendor oversight activities relating to digital media monitoring, market research and Patient Support Programmes
  • Support audit and inspection readiness activities and collaborate during inspections and audits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in physical or biological sciences or equivalent experience
  • Established pharmacovigilance experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of EU and UK/IE pharmacovigilance regulations and legislation
  • Experience with Risk Management Programmes (RMPs) and additional Risk Minimisation Measures (aRMMs)
  • Previous team leadership or management experience preferred
