Provide CMJV site employees with administration, coordination & technical support of the training, assessing and compliance activities, function, and systems for site to ensure efficiencies and effective services are delivered to stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting all Key Stakeholders as required in regard to Health and Training
Maintain the onsite training database ensuring accuracy, quality and engagement to rectify identified gaps
Ensure the LAAMP and OSTE Systems are functional and complaint in regards to site access and Contractor Management processes
Maintain and facilitate the site induction process as well as maintain a site training calendar
Ensure the scheduling of employees training courses are aligned with approved training budgets and Training Needs Analysis outlined in Training Scheme
Maintain the required competencies of the SLT in line with RS22
Implement and track approved Safety and/or Training Projects as required
Provide support to frontline management to ensure training needs are maintained to a high standard
Assist with the maintenance and review of the site SHMS Document Management System
Provide reporting requirements associated with the training function
Participate in Safety Interactions and maintain KPI compliance
Requirements:
5 years’ experience working as a Training Specialist coordinating site Crew Trainers, in the Mining industry
Thorough knowledge of Coal Mining legislation and its application to the Training Scheme, Training Needs Analysis and SHMS
Experience with auditing of training systems, and dealing with RTOs and other External Stakeholders
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or higher) qualification
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Vocational Education Training methodologies, strategies, principles and legislation
Risk Management RIIRIS402 (G2) qualification and S1,2,3 Mining Supervisor competency
Nice to have:
Working knowledge of LAAMP, SAP, OSTE, Pegasus and working with paperless training systems is highly regarded
High degree of high-risk training, permits, machinery and maintenance experience is desirable
