This exciting and challenging role will involve the continued development of the association’s training programme, service delivery and expansion to new member sectors. This will be achieved through working closely with our members and key stakeholders, to identify and understand the training needs across our membership, using this information to develop training programmes that meet those needs. This role is ideally suited to someone with a genuine interest in delivering, and ability to write, relevant, technically correct and digestible training content in an engaging way.
Job Responsibility:
Continued development of the association’s training programme, service delivery and expansion to new member sectors
Working closely with members and key stakeholders to identify and understand training needs
Developing training programmes that meet those needs
Delivering and writing relevant, technically correct and digestible training content in an engaging way
Creation of training courses from concept to delivery
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience working in a senior training role either within a restructuring or insolvency firm, or related trade association
A good understanding and up to date knowledge of the legislation, regulation and framework for the restructuring, turnaround and insolvency profession, both corporate and personal, to enable identification of relevant training topics
Experience of training and eLearning instructional design principles
Confident with web based digital delivery channels
Experience of using training software and LMS systems
Marketing proficiency
Ability to effectively articulate and explain complex technical issues to both fellow experts and ‘lay’ people, politicians, press and other stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising deadlines and to deal effectively with changing requirements
Ability to self-motivate, set personal tasks and tasks for others, and ensure these are delivered on time and to high standards
Direct experience of managing teams and developing staff
Ability to oversee and manage the financial management and budgeting needs for the Training Academy
The ability to think and plan strategically
Enthusiasm for learning – and ability to learn – about new technical and regulatory areas
Nice to have:
Experience working with volunteer committees and acting as secretariat for committees
Experience of using editing software and CRM systems
Experience within insolvency, restructuring, turnaround, or business recovery is highly desirable
