Job Description:

Are you ready to play a key role in supporting Vital Energi’s exciting growth strategy? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused HR/ Training Assistant to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Blackburn. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to both our HR Managers and HR Advisors. This role includes both HR Admin support as well as Training, your role will involve booking training courses for new starters as well as refreshers for staff members, you will be apart of the HR Team offering support across all functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide accurate HR administrative support
  • Booking courses for new starters as well as refreshers such as first aid, NVQ, CSCS etc.
  • updating matrix, budget spend, credit card completion
  • updating cezanne with records
  • chasing certificates
  • Monitor the training inbox replying to emails and setting actions and making sure it’s up to date
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-admin related queries
  • Update and co-ordinate payroll administration
  • responsible for submitting all changes of terms and conditions, new starters, leavers etc to the Payroll Department on a monthly basis
  • Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
  • Orchestrate all HR inductions for new starters
  • from ordering equipment through to organising/ co-ordinating the employment induction
  • Maintain absenteeism and holiday reporting/ statistics
  • Sending out all correspondence for probationary period reviews including reminders, invitations and revised terms and conditions
  • Undertake and maintain all filing for the department to a satisfactory standard
  • Assisting with general HR administration duties that fall within department’s remit as directed by the HR team

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade C and above
  • 3 A Level’s Grade C and above
  • Experience using different systems/ data input
  • Good attention to detail
  • Applicants must have the unrestricted and ongoing right to work in the UK for the duration of employment, without the need for sponsorship
