Job Description:

As a Training Execution Manager, you will contribute to Citi's Controls training program by collaborating with HR Learning & Development, Controls SMEs, leadership, and Enterprise Risk Management Program Training (ERMTP) to develop training content, curricula, and communications. Your role will include training advisory, project management, and creating learning initiatives for Controls professionals.

Job Responsibility:

  • supporting the execution of training and communication strategies that combines and improves online digital media with other training channels to create a sustainable collaborative learning experience
  • support ongoing maintenance and operating routines of Controls Job Family Group, including Skills and annual Skills Assessment cycles in partnership with Enterprise Workforce Management
  • provide support and guidance to ensure that all training and communications materials remain current with evolving Controls standards, adhere to industry best practices, and align seamlessly with Central Controls organizational objectives
  • support the creation and application of workplace learning and development principles
  • strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in training/L&D/adult learning environment
  • support development of communications and learning concepts beyond self-paced training (e.g., leadership development sessions, speaking panels, video, written materials) to drive adoption of Controls skills and training needs leveraging communications tools (SharePoint, Adobe Premiere, PowerPoint, Photoshop)
  • training advisory: work with stakeholders to evaluate training needs, identify critical skill gaps, and contribute to the project management and execution of targeted training and engagement initiatives for Controls professionals
  • helps manage projects with internal subject matter experts and external providers to build learning solutions that meet targeted outcomes
  • supports annual Skills Assessment processes, planning, and execution

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, communications, organizational effectiveness, risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions within the financial services industry, with a significant focus on training design and delivery
  • commitment to quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
  • good knowledge of Risk and Control processes and ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls
  • track record supporting training-related projects and programs
  • ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details
  • contribute to the development and implementation of strategy and process improvement initiatives to improve current processes
  • strong facilitation and project management skills
  • strong stakeholder management skills and experience
  • ability to understand and translate technical information into user-friendly terms
  • well-organized, detail-oriented and able to work in fast-paced environment
  • strong working knowledge/experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • ability to deliver clear and concise presentations and influence audiences
  • strong sense of accountability and ownership, with focus on delivering results
  • excellent communication skills
  • exceptional command in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Nice to have:

  • strong knowledge in deploying learning events through the Global Learning Management System (GLMS) for course and audience activity requests, and training reporting and analysis
  • leverage knowledge of technology and current learning industry best practices to support Central Controls
