Job Responsibility:
Develop a broad understanding of training need in the service through regular training needs analysis
Work in partnership with both the recruitment and retention practitioners to plan and deliver preparation training, mandatory training and develop a comprehensive training offer
Responsible for planning events such as annual awards ceremonies, foster carer conference and networking with partner agencies and local education providers to develop a training offer that is exceptional and unique to the service
Requirements:
Significant experience in a fostering service as a foster carer or educator
Understanding of the needs of cared for children and how to best support foster carers to deliver the best possible care
