This positions also: Holds accountability for leading and training new claims team members through the onboarding experience, from initial orientation and training to individual education on job expectations as well as team priorities and responsibilities. Holds accountability for training existing claims team members in upskilling, refresher and error coaching. Designs, develops and delivers curriculum and training sessions to designated audiences of learners. Executes both routine and non-routine business support tasks for the Training Delivery area under limited supervision, referring deviations from standard practices to managers. Follows area protocols, standards, and policies to provide effective and timely support. This is an Individual Contributor role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead claims training sessions for designated audiences
  • Revise and customize the curriculum to reflect the unique geographic, product, and/or audience variations
  • Leads various training development activities and team responsibilities to ensure learning environments are conducive to learning and quality outcomes
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs during and at designated intervals after delivery
  • Collect and share curricula and training event feedback from program participants
  • Participate in the development effort to enhance the curricula and training events based on that feedback
  • Develop and conduct follow-up assessments to determine the effectiveness and, when appropriate, ROI of training programs
  • Generate communications regarding workflow and system updates
  • Provide SME level support to claims team members for pricing related questions
  • Troubleshoot system data issues and work with internal partners to resolve
  • Provide first level quality error review and provide coaching on errors as needed

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in and understanding of medical claims and adjustment processing
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in training delivery and facilitation
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
