Training Coordinator position in the Distribution department. Responsibilities include auditing training progress, maintaining records, developing safety programs, updating documentation, supporting facility metrics, and maintaining certifications.
Job Responsibility:
Audit associate training progress on a regular basis. Document findings and provide feedback to the Supervisors/Warehouse Managers
Maintain all associate training and certification records.
Provide input regarding progress of new hire/contingent associates learning progression
Collaborate with Leadership on the development and implementation of Safety and Security training programs and activities
Required to stay current on all warehouse job process changes.
Create, update and maintain training documentation (SOP)
Assist in the facilitation of facility continuous improvement events
Support facility metrics such as Inventory/Order Accuracy, and CPH. Provide input on sustaining company goals.
Communicate associate concerns and ideas related to training to Leadership and provide input on appropriate solutions.
Will be expected to maintain multiple PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) and other job-specific certifications. Depending on operational needs, will be expected to work in production.
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years related experience
Training background, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of leadership and associates
Ability to influence others to perform jobs effectively
Ability to use reasoning skills to problem solve
Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities working in a fast paced production environment with fluctuating priorities
Must have the flexibility to work extended hours, when necessary, to support facility events and activities on off-shifts as needed.
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly with MS Excel, and a high level of proficiency using various PC-based applications and software platforms in support of the operation.
