A professional membership organisation is seeking a Training & Events Coordinator to support the delivery of a busy and varied programme of training courses and events for its members. This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused approach. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, the role supports the smooth operational delivery of training and events delivered online, in person and in hybrid formats.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of training courses, predominantly delivered online
Supporting the planning and operational delivery of events, including online, hybrid and in-person formats
Managing event administration, including bookings, registrations, databases and delegate communications
Acting as a key point of contact for members, trainers and speakers, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently
Setting up and supporting online training sessions and events, including troubleshooting during live delivery
Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure venues, AV and logistics are delivered as required
Maintaining accurate records, invoices and purchase orders linked to training and events activity
Supporting larger, flagship events as part of a cross-functional team
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall training and events experience
Requirements:
Previous experience in administration, events, training or a membership-based environment
Comfortable managing multiple priorities
Confident using IT systems and online event platforms
Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior professionals
