Job Description

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Training and Admin Support Coordinator to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Anchorage, AK.

Job Responsibility

  • Use the various electronic systems, platforms and tools for the company training and safety management
  • Training roster entry into the company’s learning management system: DEEP
  • Keep training completions current, by entering hard training rosters timely into DEEP
  • Schedule contractors for the company required training including
  • Registration/enrolment
  • Travel
  • Lodging
  • Manage the company PPE purchasing program for employees
  • Serve as back-up for monthly and quarterly safety reporting
  • Provide miscellaneous administrative support to the Safety Director and his direct reports as required

Requirements

  • 3-5 year's experience in a professional business environment
  • 3-5 year's experience in administrative support and/or data management and analytics
  • Power BI experience a plus
  • Ability to learn new computer-based data management tools such as MS Power BI
  • Attention to detail in data entry and data management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Ability and composure to manage multiple/competing priorities
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and accountability
  • Continuous improvement oriented, not afraid to propose new ideas or better ways of doing things

  • Oversee daily operations of the Masset office, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient service environment for clients and staff
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and support to a multi-site service delivery team
  • serve as a resource for staff questions related to service delivery and WorkBC processes
  • Carry and manage an assigned client caseload, providing Employment Advisor–level services including intake, assessment, action planning, service coordination, documentation, and follow-up, in accordance with WorkBC policies and procedures
